a. Information provided directly by You
From the moment You interact with us, You voluntarily provide information about yourself. For example, when You contact us through social media, including registering for participation in a selection process via LinkedIn or similar platforms, through our service channels, or through our Ethics Channel when You interact with our platform’s content via phone, email, or other tools like the "Client Area."

In specific cases, we may also receive some of your Personal Data from third parties, such as information provided by partners in contracts with Argo.
c. Information collected automatically
In some situations, we may also collect Personal Data automatically through the devices You use to access our platform. - Business partners, service providers, subcontractors, and other suppliers, within the scope of what is necessary, and always in accordance with applicable Brazilian legislation, adopting the best information security practices to enable communication and marketing channels, as well as the infrastructure necessary for the viability of our services.
- In the event of a corporate operation, such as a merger, acquisition, split, or incorporation.
- With administrative and judicial authorities, when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to assist in the investigation of suspicious or illegal activities; and

When we share your Personal Data in the situations mentioned above, we use contractual instruments to ensure that any third party receiving the data guarantees its adequate protection.
In situations where the sharing involves a third party located outside Brazil, in addition to ensuring the security and protection of the Personal Data through a contract, Argo will rely on one of the legally authorized grounds for international transfer permitted by law.
10. How long do we store your Personal Data?
We will not retain your Personal Data for longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above, nor will we use your data for other purposes, except in cases authorized by law.
When the retention of Personal Data after the intended purpose has been achieved is required, the criteria for determining the retention period will be as follows:
- If we have a legal, regulatory, or contractual obligation or are required by a competent authority to retain Personal Data; and
- If it is necessary to maintain accurate commercial and financial historical records or to meet Argo’s internal requirements.
The termination of Personal Data Processing will occur when:
- The purpose for which the data was collected has been achieved, or the collected Personal Data is no longer necessary or relevant to achieving the intended specific purpose.
- There is a manifestation by the Data Subject to terminate, particularly in cases where Argo received specific consent for the processing of Personal Data; or
- There is a legal or judicial determination to cease processing.
In cases of termination of Personal Data Processing, unless otherwise required by applicable law or this Policy, the Personal Data will be deleted by Argo but may remain stored in backup systems under the terms of the Personal Data Retention Policy.

We have internal policies and procedures that dictate how Personal Data should be handled by Argo. These guidelines aim to ensure the appropriate and lawful Processing of the Personal Data we hold.
In addition to these organizational and governance measures, we also adopt several technical measures to ensure even greater security for your Personal Data, including but not limited to:
- Strict control over Personal Data Processing, including access limitation and password-protected access.
- The implementation of an information security program.
- Segregation of access to Personal Data.
- Guidelines for password protection; and

Despite our best efforts to protect the Personal Data we have access to, we acknowledge that incidents can happen, as no security system is foolproof. Therefore, if any of your Personal Data is exposed in any way, we will take the necessary steps to mitigate and manage the risks, including notifying you and the relevant authorities when necessary.
If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you believe that the security of your data has been compromised), please inform us immediately.
12. International Transfers
In general, international transfers occur when the Controller offers and proves guarantees of compliance with the principles of Data Subject rights and the data protection regime outlined in the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), in the form of:

Whatever your relationship with Argo, you are guaranteed all the rights related to your Personal Data provided by law, including:

- Requesting the anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in violation of the law.
